Publications of R. N. Treuhaft
Articles in journal or book chapters
  1. R. N. Treuhaft and P. R. Siqueira. Vertical Structure of Vegetated Land Surfaces from Interferometric and Polarimetric Radar. RADIO, 35(1):141-177, January 2000. Note: NOTE: This paper presents the electromagnetic scattering model for dual-baseline INSAR this is the basis for my inversion. They present 3 models. I use the simplest because it doesn't require any data other then dual-baseline INSAR. The more advanced models require POLSAR data because they consider orientation in the vegetation medium. Very littel is explained in this paper about how the numerical inversion is implemented. I learned through personal discussions with Robert Treuhaft that he used basic least-squares normal equations. His reference was [Hamilton]. It is the most basic approach to nonlinear estimation that you can use.[bibtex-entry]
